UNION CITY — A pair of Oakland residents has been arrested in connection with a shooting earlier this summer at a movie theater in Union City, according to authorities.
The shooting happened in the early morning hours of June 26 at the Cinemark Century Union Landing 25, located at 32100 Union Landing Blvd., according to the Union City Police Department.
A man was treated at an area hospital for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Detectives identified a 38-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman as suspects in the case.
On Friday, police said both suspects had been arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail on charges of attempted murder and conspiracy.
Both suspects have prior arrests — the man for firearms possession and assault with a deadly weapon and the woman for burglary and drug offenses, according to police.
