In this AutoHunter Cinema feature, we look at a 1972 Plymouth Duster 340! It’s powered by, of course, a 340ci V8 equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. This classic muscle car retains its original High-Impact Tor-Red (EV2) paint over a black vinyl interior and sits on Rallye road wheels. Factory options include a vinyl bench seat, a Sure-Grip differential with 3.23:1 gears, tinted glass, dual painted racing mirrors, a day/night inside mirror, undercoating, electronic ignition, and an AM radio.

The original interior features factory rubber floors and the original trunk mat. This Duster was highlighted in Mopar Action magazine and comes with the original owner’s manuals, window sticker, broadcast sheet, keys, and an MMC Detroit Wise Validation Report. With only 21,743 miles on it, this well-preserved classic sold at the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Palm Beach Auction for $82,500.
