ClassicCars TV brings you along to explore Joe Dirt’s 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. This vehicle originally started life as a regular “XP29” Charger but was modified for the movie to mimic a real Winged Warrior, including a fabricated 19-inch nose cone, wing, rear window plug, and 440 Magnum that just so happens to have been built by Dick Landy.

Inside, the Charger features Joe Dirt’s signature chain-link steering wheel, foot-shaped gas pedal, fuzzy seat covers, and 8-track player. Though Joe claims he bought the Daytona for $400, we saw it sell for $330,000 at the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Palm Beach Auction.
