One person died and two people were injured following a two-vehicle accident in Antioch Sunday afternoon, according to Fire Prevention Captain Joe Ottolini of the Contra Costa County Fire Prevention District.
The collision occurred near Auto Center Drive and West 10th Street.
One person was pronounced dead on the scene and two people were transported to a hospital, he said.
The incident occurred a little after 4 p.m. and a helicopter was involved with the medical response, according to contracostanews.com.
