This ClassicCars TV episode presents “Gone Fishin’,” a 1976 GMC Suburban Estate straight outta Grand Island, Nebraska. Under the hood is a fresh 454 V8 tweaked with COMP Cams camshaft and Holley EFI fuel injection. The big-block rocks ceramic-coated Hooker headers connected to custom Flowmaster-equipped exhausts, with the engine paired to an automatic transmission and NP203 transfer case. Twenty-inch Detroit Steel Wheel Co. D-Town Smoothies are wrapped in 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler tires. At the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Scottsdale Auction, Gone Fishin’ sold for $60,500.
