Today we present this ClassicCars TV episode about a 1966 Shelby GT350-H. Though originally a Hertz Rent-A-Racer, this Shelby Mustang has been transformed into a Group B vintage SCCA race car with a meticulously built Hi-Po 289 tuned for 110 octane racing fuel, full roll cage, fuel cell, and Accusump system. Yet, despite its racing pedigree, this GT350-H retains its street-legal status, complete with functioning lights and turn signals. This racer sold for $134,2000 at Barrett-Jackson’s 2023 Las Vegas Auction. Let us know in the comments if you’d rent this!
