DALLAS — Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic returned from a one-game absence due to left hamstring soreness and scored 37 points in Sunday’s 107-105 win over the Denver Nuggets.
Doncic exited with 6:48 remaining in Wednesday’s win over the Golden State Warriors after feeling tightness in the hamstring, ending his streak of seven consecutive triple-doubles.
He did not make the trip to Oklahoma City for Thursday night’s loss to the Thunder. MRI results on Doncic’s hamstring were “clean,” Kidd said Thursday night.
Doncic returned to play 40 minutes and hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 105 late before Kyrie Irving hit a buzzer-beating hook shot to win the game.
Doncic entered the game leading the NBA in scoring with 34.3 points per game.
