Broadway San Jose has a great 2024-25 season in store for Bay Area theater fans.
It kicks off with the incredibly popular murder-mystery comedy “Clue,” which runs Oct. 29 to Nov. 3, and then brings a reimagined “Shrek the Musical” to downtown San Jose Dec. 17-22.
Moving into the new year, Broadway San Jose presents the Tony Award-winning musical “The Cher Show” from March 18 to 23, 2025. From there, fans will count down to “Six,” the raucous retelling of the lives (and, quite often, deaths) of the wives of Henry VIII, running April 22-27, 2025.
The pop-music mash-up extravaganza known as “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” runs July 8 to 20, 2025. Then it’s up to “MJ the Musical” — featuring the music of the one and only Michael Jackson — to close out the season July 29 to Aug. 3, 2025.
There are also special season add-on productions that will be announced at a later date. All performances take place at the Center for the Performing Arts in San Jose.
“We are thrilled to raise the curtain on another incredible season at Broadway San Jose,” says Broadway San Jose General Manager Gretchen Feyer. “Brace yourselves for an unforgettable journey filled with blockbuster productions for the entire family that will ignite the imagination and captivate the soul. Get ready to be swept away by the magic of live performance like never before!”
Season subscriptions run $280–$695 for the basic six-show package and can be purchased at broadwaysanjose.com or by calling 866-395-2929. For those who don’t want to pay all at once, there is an interest-free five-payment plan can be had for as low as $56 per month.
