Barbie’s living the dream and cruising along the West Coast, with plans to stop in the Bay Area this month.

The Barbie Dreamhouse Living Tour, a truck that provides a selfie and shopping experience, will roll into San Jose this weekend (the day before the Oscars; crossing pink-nailed fingers!) followed by Walnut Creek and Pleasanton later this month.

It’s a pink merch extravaganza. The truck will sell Barbie-themed apparel, accessories and home decor ranging from hats, hoodies and necklaces to dinner plates, glassware and pet bowls. Prices range from $12 to $75, according to her Mattel roadies.

The company’s iconic doll was a trailblazer and a role model. “Barbie bought her first Dreamhouse in 1962, before women in the United States could open their own bank accounts,” Mattel said, “and when only 0.1% of young women were independent homeowners.”

Here’s the schedule:

San Jose: This Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Santana Row (on Olin Avenue near Maggiano’s)

Walnut Creek: Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Broadway Plaza (in the Events Plaza near Macy’s)

Pleasanton: Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Stoneridge Shopping Center (near PF Chang’s and the Cheesecake Factory)
