Fully redesigned for 2024, the Hyundai Kona Electric checks all boxes with spunky driving dynamics, an impressive driving range, a generous warranty, a spacious interior, and attractive styling. It’s competitively priced and offers an EPA-rated range of up to 261 miles on a full charge in SEL and Limited guises (the base SE uses a smaller battery pack that’s good for around 200 miles of range). However, if you were hoping for all-wheel drive, you’re out of luck. It isn’t offered on the Kona Electric. A 64.8-kWh battery pack feeds a 201-hp electric motor, which drives the front wheels.
