OAKLAND — Authorities were investigating Wednesday after a body was discovered in the Oakland Estuary, fire officials said.
Fire crews were notified about 11 a.m. that a body had been found in the Estuary near 5th Avenue Marina and Embarcadero, according to Oakland Fire Department spokesperson Michael Hunt.
Officials did not say immediately who found the body or how.
No other information was available immediately.
