Identity theft: A Saratoga resident reported that someone used their personal information to obtain a loan. The victim discovered the theft after receiving notice from a collections company, which claimed approximately $17,000 was owed.
Battery causing serious bodily injury, false imprisonment: At 12:06 p.m., deputies responded to a call from officials at Prospect High School on Prospect Road. An investigation revealed three students worked together to trap a student in a bathroom stall, then punched the victim multiple times, causing serious bodily injury. All three suspects were arrested and booked into juvenile hall.

Identity theft: A Saratoga resident reported that someone used their personal information to open a credit card account. The account was cancelled, and no financial loss was reported.

Stolen license plate: A Saratoga resident reported that someone stole the rear license plate from their vehicle.
DUI: At 3:52 a.m., deputies stopped a motorist at Northampton Drive and Miller Avenue for traffic violations. An investigation revealed the suspect was driving under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was arrested and booked into main jail.
