PLEASANT HILL — BART service stopped Wednesday morning between the Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek stations for about an hour after a person wound up in the trackway, officials said.
Agency spokesperson Jim Allison did not have any condition immediately on the person in the trackway. He said the interruption in service happened around 8:20 a.m.
Trains in both directions were affected.
Allison said the situation was “resolved” by 9:10 a.m., and BART service resumed at that time.
County buses provided transportation for customers traveling between the two stations while the track was closed.
