OAKLAND — A 16-year-old boy and two men were wounded in an East Oakland shooting Monday night, authorities said.
Two of the victims were reported to be in stable condition Tuesday. The condition of the third man was not available.
The shooting happened about 8:20 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Lyon and Harrington avenues.
Initial reports indicated that the shooting was the result of some kind of confrontation between the three wounded and some other men, authorities said. Authorities did not specify a connection between the gunshot victims.
Two of the wounded — the 16-year-old youth and a 19-year-old man — got a ride from someone to a hospital.
The third victim, an 18-year-old man, was able to drive himself more than a mile to the 4800 block of Congress Avenue, where police found him inside the vehicle. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
A motive for the shooting has not yet been determined and no arrests have been announced.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $15,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrests of the shooter or shooters. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
