Other new members of the Athletic Hall of Fame are Terrie Ogilvie, ’66, an all-American swimmer who placed at the 1966 USA National Championships; Russell Tanner, ’96, a volleyball player named team and league MVP and an All State selection; Melissa Mullins, 2004, softball pitcher and league MVP; Logan Schafer, 2004, a baseball and soccer star who went on to a six-year MLB career; Danny Bates, 2004, an all-league football player who was the first Los Gatos running back to rush for over 2,000 yards; Naveed Bagheri, 2007, a wrestling star who finished fifth in the state and went on to win an NCAA National championship at San Francisco State; and Danielle Katz, 2013, who has the fastest times in LGHS history in almost every long-distance running event.
The induction ceremony will be held on May 4 at La Rinconada Country Club. Tickets are set to go on sale in mid-February.
AIMEing to win

Qualifying Los Gatos students include Haohsiang Chen, Andreas Haapalainen, Edwin Hou, Eric Hou, Henry Lee, Nolan Lin, Jack Mei, David Roh, Mehaan Sibal and Zihe Wang.
