PACIFICA — Two teenagers were assaulted and robbed at gunpoint Tuesday in Pacifica, police said.

The incident happened around 4:50 p.m. in the east parking lot of the Linda Mar Shopping Center, located along Highway 1, according to the Pacifica Police Department.

One victim was taken to a hospital as a precaution, according to police. The other victim was released to his parents and planned to seek medical attention on his own.

An investigation is underway into the incident.
