PETTY THEFT: 11:47 p.m. at 7-11 on East Main Street. A homeless male was eating food and not paying. He was refusing to leave.
Dec. 19
BURGLARY: 9:45 a.m. at Teleferic Barcelona on University Avenue. Someone gained entry to the restaurant through the back door and stole around $30,000-$50,000 worth of wine from the wine cellar.
DEFRAUD INNKEEPER: 9:56 a.m. at Oren’s Hummus on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Someone passed a fake $100 bill.
Dec. 20
PETTY THEFT: 8:25 a.m. at Walgreens on Blossom Hill Road. A man stole a basket of merchandise. The caller said he comes in daily and steals.
PETTY THEFT: 2:14 p.m. on College Avenue. Both plates were stolen from a vehicle.
Dec. 21
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: 08:36 a.m. on Ellenwood Avenue. A dark blue BMW SUV was driving through the neighborhood. The driver got out of the car and started checking door handles of other cars. It’s unknown if entry was made into any vehicles.
VANDALISM: 08:45 a.m. at Royal Shaving on North Santa Cruz Avenue. The caller arrived to work and discovered damage to the rear door. The door knob was missing, and there were pry marks on door. No access was made.
GRAND THEFT: 12:13 p.m. at Vivere on Riviera Drive. Someone stole a black mountain bike with orange and blue trim.
EMBEZZLEMENT: 1:28 p.m. at Paradise Pool and Gardens on Winchester Boulevard. An ex-employee used a company credit card for personal purchases and also submitted false timesheets and got paid for hours not worked.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 3:52 p.m. on Belgatos Lane. A resident received notification from her Ring camera for movement at her gate. When she checked, she noticed a man squeezing himself through the gate.
