LOS BANOS – A magnitude 3.7 earthquake rattled the Diablo Range south of Los Banos on Wednesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake hit at 10:16 p.m. about 16 miles south-southwest of Los Banos, the USGS said. The original estimate of 3.8 magnitude was revised.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
Shaking was reported in Morgan Hill and Hollister, and as far away as Manteca and the area north of Coulterville, a gold rush town in Mariposa County, the USGS said.
