United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres is beating the climate alarmism drumbeat and calling for the eventual phasing out of fossil fuels.
“Not reduce. Not abate. Phase out with a clear timeframe aligned with 1.5 degrees,” he said during a speech.
Guterres dramatically spoke of “the sickness bringing our climate to its knees. A sickness only you, global leaders, can cure.” He claimed that “Earth’s vital signs are failing.”
“We can — you can — prevent planetary crash and burn,” Guterres declared.
He said that “climate chaos is fanning the flames of injustice” and called for accelerating a “just, equitable transition to renewables.”

“You give up fossil fuels first, Mr. UN Secretary. Lead by example,” Gabriella Hoffman tweeted.
“Want a better world? Reduce the power of politicians and globalists,” someone else wrote.
“Ok, as the Secretary General of the UN, please tell us which people should be the first to die from starvation when you try to keep the grid on and simultaneously produce fertiliser with just renewable energy?” someone else posted.
U.N. Climate Change Executive Secretary Simon Stiell recently declared during a speech, “If we do not signal the terminal decline of the fossil fuel era as we know it, we welcome our own terminal decline.”
