Fall Restaurant Week is back, a promotion that encourages Bay Area food lovers to return to San Francisco to discover new places and revisit old favorites.

More than 200 restaurant locations are participating in the promotion co-sponsored by the Golden Gate Restaurant Association and Open Table, with meal deals that run from this Friday, Nov. 3, through Thursday, Nov. 16.

Lunch/brunch are offered at the $10, $15, $25, $30 or $40 levels and three-course dinners are priced at $30, $45, $65, $75 or $90. Outdoor dining choices abound.

Restaurants on the website are categorized by cuisine and neighborhood, allowing diners to search for deals from Bayview to the Marina to West Portal.

More than 40 restaurants are participating for the first time.

Special Eat Drink SF events include a Nov. 8 cocktail party at Curio in the Mission and a Nov. 12 seafood lunch at Scoma’s at Fisherman’s Wharf.
