OAKLAND — A 40-year-old Emeryville man was shot early Saturday morning in the city’s Chinatown district, authorities said.

The man was transported to a hospital, where he was in stable condition.

The shooting occurred around 3 a.m. near the intersection of 11th and Franklin streets, police said.

Oakland police said the man had been at a club nearby, but was apparently involved in a dispute outside, where he was shot at least twice.

Police have not yet identified a motive for the shooting. No arrests were announced and no suspect information was released.

Authorities are offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426, or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at 510-777-8572.
