At 50 years old and 55,000 miles, a well-kept luxury coupe has hit the marketplace that should appeal to Cadillac connoisseurs everywhere.

“This is an original unrestored car,” the seller says. “There have been some touch-ups, but it appears that everything including the vinyl top is original. The car was a two-owner, one-family car when I bought it last year.”
As with other vehicles on the General Motors C-body platform, the DeVille was restyled when it grew into its fourth generation beginning in 1971. Today’s example is a two-door hardtop from 1973, which was the year that energy-absorbing bumpers were added to all vehicles across the GM lineup. Notably, this would be the final model year for the hardtop roofline in the Coupe DeVille lineup.
This car reportedly came from the estate of the original owner’s family and has accrued just 55,000 miles since new. Any car collector knows that even a low-mileage car still has mechanical needs, and luckily this car is well-sorted: Specifically, the seller outlines some of the recent maintenance items which included new tires, a rebuilt carburetor, new valve cover gaskets, a rebuilt water pump, new rubber hoses, a new battery and cables, a new brake booster, and new LED light bulbs throughout. The seller says, “Everything on the vehicle works as it should.”
The amenities of this car were well-appointed for its time, and you can imagine how comfortable this cruiser would be for a long-haul journey. The cabin is conditioned by automatic climate control, the door panels are upholstered in pillow-style treatment, and the seller says that the radio is upgraded with a retro-look Bluetooth unit, so you can enjoy your tunes along with that plush ride. The DeVille model, incidentally, went through a restyle later in the 1970s that gave it smaller dimensions all around, so this big-body ’73 was one of the last of its kind.
