TRACY – A 32-year-old San Leandro woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with a fatal hit-and-run earlier this year in Tracy, police said.

Around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers with the Tracy and Dublin police departments took Natasha Jimenez-Pazo into custody without incident in the 7000 block of Village Parkway in Dublin, the Tracy Police Department said in a news release.

Jimenez-Pazo was booked into San Joaquin County jail on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, driving under the influence causing death and hit-and-run resulting in death. She is being held on $2 million bail.

The deadly collision happened just before 7 p.m. on Feb. 27 near the intersection of West Eleventh and El Portal streets in Tracy. Police said a driver hit an adult male pedestrian and kept going.

Officers used camera footage to identify the suspect vehicle as a white 2012 Hyundai Sonata. The car was later found in the Bay Area and impounded, police said.
