One of the best things about more modern top tier luxury cars is that they offer the most amazing technology and luxurious options available but always sell at a fraction of the price they cost new. This has seemed to always be the case of the Mercedes S class, the Jaguar XJ, and the BMW 7 series. As a buyer this is great because you are literally buying one of the finest cars that the best manufacturers in the world can build for often less than the price of a new Toyota Camry.
The G12 version of the BMW 7 Series was the sixth generation of the company’s top end luxury sedan and was aimed to level the field between Mercedes S class cars and the BMW 7 series. It incorporated all the newest technology BMW had to offer including lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and a top tier audio system.
The interiors were the best yet seen in a BMW 7 series car as they features the finest leather used almost everywhere possible, elegant ceramic controls, and other niceties such as the option of a Alcantara headliner. You don’t expect it, but this makes a huge difference in how nice a car’s interior feels. These 7 series cars are a nice place for you and the family to spend hours and hundreds of miles.
The seller describes this 2018 750i xDrive sedan as having only covered 39,425 miles from new and sold new for a original retail price of $120,425. The cars options include Driving Assistance Plus Package, Executive Package, M Sport Package, a panoramic moonroof, multi-contour seats, soft-close doors, and the aforementioned Alcantara headliner. It was originally delivered to BMW of Freeport in Freeport, New York, and is powered by a 445-horsepower 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 mated to a Steptronic eight-speed automatic transmission. The car is painted in Grigio Telesto Pearl Metallic over a Cognac Nappa leather interior.
The exterior of this 750i features adaptive LED lighting, soft-close doors, power-folding mirrors, and dual black exhaust outlets. They add that there is a small scratch on the hood that is shown in the photos in the ad. The car rides on its original M Sport Package-specific black 20-inch wheels with 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Goodyear tires.
The interior looks to be in almost new condition and the two-tone interior is appointed with power-adjustable, heated and air conditioned Cognac Nappa leather multi-contour bucket front seats, a bench in the rear, matching materials for the door panels, center console, and lower dash with a black used for the upper dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Other features include piano black finishes, a heated steering wheel, rear sunshades, a Harman Kardon audio system, four-zone automatic climate control, ceramic controls, navigation, a rearview camera, smart keyless entry, gesture control, Apple CarPlay compatibility, a head-up display, illuminated aluminum door sill plates, and a WiFi hotspot.
From a mechanical standpoint, the car is powered by the BMW N63 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that features Double-VANOS variable valve timing and direct injection. It was rated at 445 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque when new. Period tests state that this gave the 750i xDrive the capability of a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds, an amazing number for a 4,600 lb car. The CARFAX shows a May 2023 service which included an oil change and an emissions inspection. The car comes with its original owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and two key fobs.
So why not take a swing by bidding on this fantastic European luxury sedan and see how much car you can get for the money. There is no better value in the car market than a car like this 7 series.
