PACIFICA — A 36-year-old Pittsburg woman was arrested Sunday after she allegedly threatened some people with a gun during a dispute over a beach parking spot while she had a child in her vehicle, police said.

In a news release, police said that about 2:41 p.m. Sunday officers were dispatched to the Linda Mar Beach parking lot at 495 Linda Mar Blvd. on a report of a parking dispute involving a firearm.

It was determined the woman had allegedly threatened three individuals with an apparently loaded handgun during a dispute over parking, the release said..

Police said a child was in the woman’s vehicle at the time, but authorities did not specify the child’s age, gender or relationship to the woman.

Officers were able to obtain identifying information for the woman and the vehicle she was in.

The vehicle was located parked on the 100 block of Rockaway Beach Avenue a short time later, and the woman was arrested without incident.

Police did not say if the child was still in the vehicle at the time of the arrest or if the gun was located.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of two felonies: assault with a firearm on a person and child endangerment. She was also arrested on a misdemeanor count of exhibiting a deadly weapon. She was booked at the San Mateo County Jail.
