It is powered by Pontiac’s tried and true 389 Trophy V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Notable features eatures include power steering, power brakes, clock, AM radio, E-Z-Eye tinted glass, heater-delete, and new Coker Classic wide whitewall tires. Finished in Mayan Gold with silver/charcoal/white vinyl interior, this classic Poncho comes with the original owner’s manual, PHS documentation, copy of the original invoice, and clear title.
The unrestored exterior was repainted in the original color of Mayan Gold (code T) about 40 years ago. Features includes body-side trim, dual rear-view mirrors, and full wheel covers with knock-off spinners.
A set of black 14-inch steel wheels is wrapped in 215/75 R14 whitewall Coker Classic tires that were installed in May of this year.
The interior is upholstered in silver/charcoal/white vinyl. Considering this vehicle was originally sold in Miami (per the invoice), it stands to reason.
The instrument panel includes a 120-mph speedometer, clock, and gauges for the fuel level, and battery. The odometer reads 58,010 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.
Power is provided by a 267-horsepower 389 two-barrel V8 backed by a three-speed Hydra-Matic transmission.
This Pontiac is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear-drive axle. A single exhaust exits at the rear. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums.
