Is the 1967 Corvette king? In the collector car world, it seems that way. C2s arguably are the most classic design and the 1967 edition seemed to pull it all together with engines and equipment. Yet there will always be an enterprising individual or shop who imagines what can be done to improve an already special car. Jeff Hayes Customs had a vision, which you can see below for your enjoyment.

Painted Dirty Martini Green with a contrasting silver-green “Stinger” stripe and custom Butter Cream interior, this Vette utilizes a Art Morrison chassis with four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Under the hood, the original engine was removed (likely a 327) and in its place you’ll find a fuel-injected 540-horsepower LS3 paired with a SuperMatic 4L70-E heavy-duty four speed automatic. Take note of the valve covers on the engine, which resemble the finned units on vintage Corvettes. Another mod to note includes custom Schott Wheels with simulated knock-offs.
