The SIG Sauer P320 has received a lot of attention and popularity since its inception. As a result, the platform has seen many different variants and custom releases, like the P320 Spectre Comp. Not to mention custom tune-ups from companies like Wilson Combat. Now, SIG Sauer takes it to the next level with the P320-AXG LEGION.

Featuring an all-metal construction, the P320-AXG LEGION has a full-size Aluminum X-SERIES Grip (AXG) module. Correspondingly, the grip module has a LEGION gray Cerakote finish for long-lasting durability. Likewise, custom Hogue G-10 grip panels with embossed LEGION chevron work with an oversized beavertail and deep trigger guard undercut to provide a comfortable and solid purchase during courses of fire.

A 4.7-inch slide rides atop the frame and features enhanced forward and rear cocking serrations. Additionally, the end of the slide includes a two-port slide integrated expansion chamber which acts as a compensator. As a result, recoil is reduced by up to 30% for faster follow-up shots.

The slide is topped with X-RAY3 Day/Night Sights. However, the optic cut also allows for the installation of an optic of your choice. It’s set up for direct installation of SIG Sauer Electro-Optics ROMEO1Pro and ROMEO2, as well as the Deltapoint Pro, and Trijicon RMR. Housed within the slide is a 3.9-inch carbon steel barrel chambered in 9mm. However, the ported barrel and 5.9-inch sight radius help maintain accuracy.

Rounds are sent downrange via the XSeries flat skeletonized trigger and stainless steel FCU. As part of the LEGION series, the P320-AXG ships with three 21-round magazines. However, for prohibitive states, it’s available with three 10-round magazines. The magazines feed into a removable magwell that provides for quicker reloads.

“Since its inception, the LEGION line of products has represented the pinnacle of performance and engineering, and the P320-AXG LEGION is no exception,” said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc. “Featuring the strength and weight of the all-metal AXG grip module and the patent-pending slide-integrated expansion chamber, the P320-AXG LEGION delivers on significant recoil reduction for a shooting experience like no other pistol in its class.”

Editor’s Note:

Recently, SIG introduced a collaboration with knife maker Daniel Winkler for the LEGION Operator Knife. The knife was designed in collaboration with Special Operations Forces operator Kevin Holland. Featuring an aggressive design and the LEGION chevron, it would make the perfect companion piece to the P320-AXG LEGION.
