The FJ Cruiser, sold between model years 2007 and 2014 in the United States, was a popular (and very capable) off-road rig that carries a strong enthusiast following today. In attendance at this year’s Future Collector Car Show was a particularly sweet FJ from the final model year. It’s finished in Heritage Blue, which was a color reserved specifically for the “Ultimate Trail Teams” edition. Aside from the already-impressive list of standard equipment, this FJ was upgraded by its owner with a host of all-terrain goodies, like a skid plate, a winch, LED lighting, roof racks, all-weather floor mats, and color-keyed Volk Racing wheels on a set of 33-inch BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A raised-white-letter tires. Power for this sport-utility comes from a 260-horsepower 4.0-liter V6 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. With a limited-production span and rugged underpinnings, it’s no wonder the FJ Cruiser is considered a future collectible vehicle.
