A Santa Rosa man was arrested on suspicion of pointing a firearm at three separate people on Saturday, announced the Santa Rosa Police Department on Sunday.

Police first responded to reports of someone pointing a gun at a resident at 9:44 p.m. in the 2300 block of McBride Lane. Upon further investigation, police said the man pointed a gun at two different people before fleeing the area in a silver sedan with passengers in the car.

About 30 minutes later, officers received another notification of a man pointing a firearm at someone near Cherry Street. The resident said the suspect was urinating in his yard, and the suspect pointed a gun at him and yelled “gang-related challenges” when he tried to confront him, according to police.

Officers located the suspect vehicle driving northbound in the 1200 block of Mendocino Avenue. After initiating a traffic stop, all occupants of the vehicle were detained and officers allegedly found a loaded semi-automatic handgun.

Police said all three victims confirmed that one passenger, 29-year-old Carlos Martinez Sedeno, was the suspect. During the booking process at Sonoma County Jail, officers also said they found Sedeno in possession of narcotics.

27-year-old Briana Santos Martinez, the driver of the vehicle, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Female passenger Angelina Santiago, 24, was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a loaded firearm in a vehicle and public intoxication.
