OAKLAND — Over a three-hour span Friday night, a woman and two men were shot to death in East Oakland, authorities said.

Investigators said the shootings are not related, even though two of them occurred just a few blocks apart. A person was detained for questioning in one of the shootings.

About 10:31 p.m. Friday, police were called to a home in the 2400 block of 67th Avenue where a  22-year-old man was found shot inside. He was pronounced dead there. His name has not yet been released.

A 52-year-old man, who also lived at the home and who investigators said was the person who called police, was being detained for questioning Saturday. His name has not yet been released. A gun was recovered at the home, police said.

Police have not yet said what the relationship was between the two men, or what prompted the shooting.

About 8:38 p.m., a 38-year-old San Francisco woman was found fatally shot inside a parked car in the 6900 block of International Boulevard. Her name has not yet been released.

Police are trying to determine why the woman was in Oakland and why she was killed. No arrests have been made.

And less than an hour earlier, about 7:48 p.m., a 29-year-old man from Montclair in Southern California was fatally shot as he was leaving a liquor store in the 7200 block of International Boulevard. His name has not yet been released.

Investigators are trying to determine why the man was in Oakland and what the motive is for the shooting. No arrests have been made.

With the three fatal shootings, Oakland police have now investigated 16 homicides in the city this year. Last year at this time police had also investigated 16 homicides.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money in the two International Boulevard killings for information leading to the arrests of the suspects. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3821 or 510-238-7950 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
