Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has reportedly signed a measure related to restrictions on “adult-oriented” performances.
The measure states that the performances should not occur on public property, allow minors to attend, or be paid for using public funding.
The measure stipulates that “adult-oriented performance” refers to a performance meant “to appeal to the prurient interest” and which includes full or partial nakedness, “a specific sexual activity,” or the intentional exposure of “a specific anatomical area” or “prosthetic genitalia or breasts.”
Sanders, who was sworn in as governor in January, delivered the Republican address to the nation earlier this month on the heels of President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address.
“The dividing line in America is no longer between right or left. The choice is between normal or crazy,” she declared during the speech, adding later that “the Biden administration is doubling down on crazy.”
“President Biden is unwilling to defend our border, defend our skies, and defend our people. He is simply unfit to serve as commander in chief,” the governor declared. She added, “While you reap the consequences of their failures, the Biden administration seems more interested in woke fantasies than the hard reality Americans face every day.”
Sanders, who is the daughter of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, had previously served as White House press secretary during a portion of President Donald Trump’s tenure.
Earlier this month, she tweeted, “Biden adamantly refuses to secure the border, stop fentanyl from pouring across it, and save American lives. A total disgrace.”
