The Versacarry Obsidian Deluxe IWB Holster
Constructed of custom molded polymer, the Obsidian Deluxe is a slight departure from the typical fare from Versacarry. Known for its use of vegetable-tanned water buffalo leather and polymer combinations, the company stripped this IWB down to just polymer. As a result, the fit is just slightly thicker than the firearm itself.
The holster features a raised protective backing to separate flesh and steel, protecting both you and your firearm. Not to mention providing additional comfort to the wearer. Additionally, the clip is adjustable for cant, allowing you to set it for your perfect draw. Likewise, two adjustable draw tension screws allow the user to set their preferred balance between retention/draw tension.
However, if you prefer to pull the grip into the body a little more, the clip can be moved to the draw tension position. As a result, you can change the way the holster rides in the waistband.
The Obsidian Deluxe is optics compatible with a low-cut front allowing for standard optics mounts. Likewise, an open bottom allows for the carry of pistols with a threaded barrel. The holster is intended for use with a standard 1.5-inch belt.
