The Campbell Social Security office is relocating to 1480 W. Campbell Ave. on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Operations at 770 W. Hamilton Ave. will end at close of business Thursday, Feb. 16.
Social Security office hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The agency strongly encourages those who can to use its online services at www.socialsecurity.gov or call 1-800-772-1213 to schedule appointments to save wait times associated with walking in.
The agency continues to require COVID-19 safety measures including masking. Masks will be provided to the public as needed. Visit www.socialsecurity.gov/coronavirus/gethelp for more information.

District of Distinction
Last month, the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority received the Special District Leadership Foundation’s District of Distinction Accreditation. The district is one of only 40 statewide, and only eight districts in the Bay Area have achieved this recognition.
“This accreditation is designed as a way for districts to highlight their prudent fiscal practices along with other areas important to effectively operate and govern a special district and is valid for three years,” reads the foundation’s website.
To be eligible for accreditation, a district must first earn the foundation’s District Transparency Certificate of Excellence, which allows special districts to showcase their transparency efforts.
