Angry Chickz, a restaurant known for its Nashville-style hot chicken, will enter the chicken wars in Brentwood with a grand opening set for Friday.

The new restaurant, at 2500 Sand Creek Road, will open for festivities and Angry Chickz merchandise giveaways to the first 100 customers to 11 a.m., accroding to their social media posts.

Angry Chickz Founder David Mkhitaryan first discovered Nashville hot chicken in 2017 and later perfected his recipe for the perfect spicy, juicy chicken tender. With the help of his wife and a friend, he opened his first 900-square-foot restaurant in Hollywood in 2018. Since then, the business owners have opened 18 other fast-food restaurants in California, including one last month in San Jose and ones in Las Vegas and Arizona.

Angry Chickz will open a new restaurant in Brentwood on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, adding to the chain, which already has nearly 20 locations. Known for its Nashville hot chicken, the restaurant will be at 2500 Sand Creek Road.
