Some folks think that the Boss 302 Mustang was the sweetest pony car to ever come out of Dearborn. Maybe that’s why Dream Giveaway is closing the entry banks for a one-of-one 1970 Boss 302 this upcoming Valentine’s Day.
We think this Boss 302 Mustang is pretty sweet, too. Special-ordered by an “in-the-know” fellow early in the 1970 model year, this unique Mustang foregoes most of the visual cues you’d expect in a 1969-1970 Boss. Instead, the original owner focused on performance items.
What you won’t find on this Burnt Orange Poly Boss 302 is a hood scoop or Magnum 500 wheels. (By the way, the color is from the 1969 Lincoln catalog and only available by special order on the 1970 Mustang!) What you will find is the 302ci solid-lifter V-8, a four-speed manual and a Traction Lok rear with low gears for some serious street action.
This incredible Boss 302 has logged a frugal 59,000 miles since day 1 and its original owner cared for it as if it were a loved one for over 50 years.
How do you win it? Click here for entries.
This Boss 302 comes with a treasure trove of historical documents which will go along with this grand-prize Mustang. Original license plate, dealer new car thank you letter, window sticker, build sheet, dealer vin records, vanity plates… heck, the goodies take up a whole table top when spread out to look at. Many of these documents were never given to Ford customers but were intended only for factory or dealership use. The original owner must have been friends with the Ford dealership and talked them into saving all the documents pertaining to the car.
Have you ever seen a Boss 302 with this much documentation? Don’t let somebody else have the winning ticket.
With only 59,000 miles on its ticker, this 1970 Boss 302 is muscle-car era survivor with a fascinating backstory. You only have until midnight (PST) on February 14, 2023, to get your entries.
A Boss 302 for your Valentine’s sweetheart? It’s up to you to make it happen. Enter now.
