Rock Island Armory hit SHOT Show 2023 with two new concealed carry options. Offering a choice between 9mm and .380ACP, RIA provides two competitively priced small-frame pistols. So, whether you’re a 1911 fan or like the feel of a traditional .380, you’re in luck; both platforms are covered.
Two New Concealed Carry Pistols from Rock Island Armory
BBR 3.10 9mm
Designated the “Baby Rock,” the BBR 3.10 features a compact 1911 frame in an ideal size for maximum concealment. With an overall length of 6.85 inches and width of 1.5 inches, the BBR is a lightweight 3.7 pounds. Likewise, a height of only 4.55 inches ensures that the BBR easily tucks away out of sight.
Featuring a 3.10-inch barrel, the BBR is chambered in 9mm and has a capacity of 10 rounds. The stainless-steel frame features a black anodized/parkerized finish for overall long-lasting life. Additionally, G10 grips provide comfortable retention while shooting.
The slide features rear cocking serrations and stable low-profile angled sights for consistent accuracy. Finally, the BBR boasts a 5 – 7-pound trigger pull, backed by a comfortable dovetail grip safety.
MSRP: $699.00
LI380 .380ACP
Featuring an all-metal frame, the LI380 weighs in at 3.5 pounds, ideal for concealed carry while enough to help reduce felt recoil. Measuring 6.53 inches in overall length and a width of 1.19 inches, the LI380 easily tucks away. However, it comes in slightly taller than the BBR, with an overall height of 6.53 inches.
The polymer grips include a thumb recess for the same ergonomic grip every time you take purchase of the pistol. A black anodized finish helps to protect the LI380 for a longer life. Additionally, the slide features forward and rear cocking serrations and a load indicator.
Featuring a 3.55-inch barrel chambered in .380ACP, rounds are sent downrange via a 4 – 6-pound trigger pull. Finally, the LI380 includes a single stack magazine for 8+1 capacity.
MSRP: $299.00
