OAKLAND — Two people were wounded Thursday afternoon after a shooting along an East Oakland corridor, authorities said.

Shortly after 3:10 p.m., officers responded to reports of ShotSpotter activity in the 8900 block of MacArthur Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found evidence of a shooting scene in the block, including multiple bullet casings, and set up a perimeter blocking traffic at 90th Avenue and MacArthur.

Officers soon learned that at least two victims suffering from gunshot wounds arrived at a hospital after obtaining their own transportation.

Both victims were later listed in stable condition, but police did not share specific injuries Thursday evening.

For information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the shooting, police are offering up to $10,000.

Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at 510-777-8572.
