“Our trend of growth and development continues, and this shows that our direction is sound and our choices are on the mark,” says Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “This is the product of well-defined collective assessments that can produce consistent and concrete results. We have been able to carefully and meticulously manage an extraordinary order intake, pursuing a clear strategy with the primary objective of maintaining controlled growth to protect the exclusivity of our brand.”

Based on individual Lamborghini models, the Urus had the best year (5,367 vehicles delivered, 7% increase over 2021), followed by the Huracán (3,113 cars delivered, 20% increase over 2021) and the Aventador (753 units delivered in 2021, with its production ending in September 2022).

Lamborghini is attempting to set more personal records in 2023 with the production of its first hybrid cars and by starting the second phase of the Direzione Cor Tauri program. The latter is a sustainability project that involves the largest investment in the company’s history ($1.9 billion over five years) to foster Lamborghini’s transition to hybrid and then fully-electric vehicles.

“2023 is going to be a year of challenges and changes that we are ready to confront by always pushing ourselves beyond,” Winkelmann adds. “We now have the opportunity to focus on our next objectives also thanks to an 18-month waiting list, which enables us to look to the future and the upcoming goals with confidence.”
