The Canik SFx Rival-S Steel Framed Pistol
The SFx Rival-S takes the original Rival and adds some recoil-absorbing heft with a steel-framed version. At 8.09 inches long, 5.75 inches tall, 1.41 inches wide, and 2.67 pounds, the Rival-S isn’t built for concealed carry. However, what it is built for is competition and speed.
Featuring a steel frame and slide, the SFx Rival-S minimizes recoil by up to 31%. By doing so it reduces muzzle rise, helping you get back on target faster for follow-up shots, improving split times. Likewise, the reduced muzzle rise helps to improve accuracy and sight reacquisition.
The ported slide features deep forward and rear cocking serrations for easy manipulation, even with wet hands. Similarly, aggressive grip texturing ensures a solid purchase and retention while firing. The slide is optics-ready with 100% co-witness. However, an adjustable rear sight couples with a fiber optic front sight for non-optic competition.
Chambered in 9mm, rounds are sent downrange through the 5-inch barrel via a 90° break flat trigger. Correspondingly, a competition flared magwell helps to ensure fast, smooth reloads during competition. The SFx Rival-S also features ambidextrous controls and forward indexing points for the left-handed competitor.
The Canik SFx Rival-S comes in a newly designed two-tiered water-resistant case with tons of extras to get you started. In the case, you will find two 18-round magazines, a competition holster, five optics plates, three sized grips, an external mag-well, two aluminum magazine base plates, a fiber optic front sight with multiple color choices, tool kit and punch, cleaning kit, and speed loader.
The SFx Rival-S is available in either chrome or black Dark Side finishes.
