Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a restored 1963 Ford Thunderbird convertible.
“During the restoration completed in 2019, the reportedly rust-free body was fitted with new seals and fasteners and refinished in Corinthian White,” the listing states. “The power-retractable white convertible top received new solenoids, switches, and motors. Features include quad headlights, chrome brightwork, dual side mirrors, rear fender skirts, and a dual exhaust system.”
It rides on red 14-inch steel wheels with spinner hubcaps and BFGoodrich whitewall tires.
The Thunderbird’s interior has new red vinyl upholstery and matching carpet. It features a rear seat tonneau cover, a center console, and the push-button radio was converted to receive the FM signal.
This Ford Thunderbird is powered by a rebuilt 390ci V8 engine paired with a rebuilt and resealed Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. The power steering and power brakes systems both received new lines during the restoration.
The sale includes a clear Indiana title, and the five-digit mechanical odometer reads 75,858 miles, which the selling dealer states is an accurate figure.
This 1963 Ford Thunderbird convertible’s auction ends on January 3, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. (MST)
