Two East Bay law enforcement agencies are seeking help in finding at-risk men who recently went missing in Hayward and Oakland.
Alameda County sheriff’s deputies are trying to find Tetsue Morino, 78, who was last seen around 10 a.m. Friday leaving a care facility at 18958 Standish Ave. in Hayward. He has multiple health conditions that require attention, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.

Morino only speaks Japanese and is known to visit businesses along Mission Boulevard in Hayward, the sheriff’s office said. He stands 5-foot-7 and weighs 160 pounds, and he was last seen wearing a beige jacket with gray pants. He doesn’t have a cell phone and is familiar with public transportation.

The Oakland Police Department also is seeking help in finding another man, Rufus Hawkins, 84, who went missing and suffers from dementia.

He was last seen sometime between 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in the 3800 block of MacArthur Boulevard wearing a gray sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black shoes. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds.
