Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this restored 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. In the hands of the seller for the past 13 years, this GTO Judge features a Ram Air 400ci V8 engine backed by a five-speed manual TREMEC upgrade. Features include power Wilwood disc brakes, Hotchkis suspension, hydraulic clutch, power steering, Rally gauges and optional hideaway headlights. Finished in Carousel Red over a black vinyl interior, this reportedly rust-free GTO Judge is available now and comes with removed stock parts detailed below, records and receipts, copy of the original window sticker, and an Alberta, Canada Vehicle Registration Certificate in the seller’s name.
In 2009, the exterior was refinished in the original code 72 Carousel Red. Features include hideaway headlights, fender-mounted antenna, and Judge-specific spoiler, decals and side stripes.
The auction includes two sets of wheels and tires: polished aluminum Boze Alloys and radials, and Pontiac Rally II wheels wrapped in new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
The interior, including front bucket seats, are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include Hurst shifter, center console with storage compartment, power steering and brakes, and AM radio.
A 140-mph speedometer, 8K-rpm tachometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 5,320 miles, which the seller believes is the mileage accrued since the restoration was completed. The true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a date-coded 366-horsepower Ram Air 400 engine backed by a TREMEC five-speed manual. The restored engine compartment features a matte black firewall and inner fenders, chrome valve covers, and black air cleaner with Ram Air baffle. A Muncie four-speed manual transmission will be included with the car.
This GTO Judge’s suspension has been upgraded with Hotchkis tubular front control arms, and front and rear sway bars. The underbody floors are finished in Carousel Red, with the chassis and suspension components finished in matte black. A Wilwood power disc brake upgrade helps this Goat stop better than any stock Judge ever did. According to the seller, the braking and suspension components were installed in 2016.
A copy of the original window sticker, records and receipts, and the aforementioned parts will be included with the sale. Additional pictures of the vehicle, including the underside, can be seen in the auction page.
The auction for this 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge ends on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 12:20 p.m. (MST)
