Bridge fundraiser
Attendees at the Saratoga History Museum’s Nov. 29 fundraiser should put on their game faces, as they’ll be playing either bridge or mah jong. Lunch and prizes are included at the event, set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 14771 Montalvo Road.

Jingle Bell Tea
Mission Valley Chorus is hosting its 16th annual Jingle Bell Tea fundraiser Dec. 3. The event, with seatings at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., features a full tea service, performances by the chorus and vocal quartets, sing-alongs and one large zoo animal.

Wildfire prep meeting
Residents are invited to a community meeting on Dec. 1 to discuss updates to the area’s wildfire preparedness plans. Santa Clara County’s FireSafe Council, with the help of Cal Fire and multiple county offices, is working to update the Community Wildfire Protection Plan. The plan includes forest upkeep to reduce fodder for fires. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Saratoga Community Center, located at 19655 Allendale Ave.
Wreaths Across America
The Saratoga Area Senior Coordinating Council is holding a Wreaths Across America event Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. at Madronia Cemetery, 14766 Oak St. The annual ceremony honors veterans by laying a wreath with a red ribbon on their graves.

For each wreath purchased, $5 is donated to the Saratoga Area Senior Coordinating Council to help support programs for veterans.
