Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart has a sprain of his right big toe and will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Stewart suffered the injury in Monday’s game against the Toronto Raptors, playing less than 13 minutes in the 115-111 loss.
The No. 16 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, Stewart was having a breakout year in his third season, averaging 12 points, 9.3 rebounds and shooting 33% on 3.6 3-point attempts per game.
The injury came soon after big man Marvin Bagley III returned to the Pistons’ rotation after missing the start of the year with a knee injury.
