The 82-year-old husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was hospitalized after he “suffered blunt force trauma to his head and body after being attacked with a hammer. He was being treated by doctors for bruising, severe swelling and other injuries.” He is expected to make a full recovery, the Democratic speaker’s office said in a statement.
