October is the perfect weather for all types of car shows across the US. While we can’t mention every single show happening this weekend, we’ve picked a few to highlight, and are sharing some sites to find shows closer to you! If you are involved in a local show coming up, please feel free to leave a comment about it!
Today’s highlights will be on the West Coast, Southwest, and Midwest.
Picture This Wisconsin Car Rally
October 15-November 30, Madison, WI
A 135-mile, 5 hour car rally through the countryside of southern Wisconsin. Not only will you drive through picturesque landscapes, but you’ll also have the chance to a $250 cash prize. What’s nice about this rally is that it does begin on October 15, but you have until November 30 to turn in your times. For more details on all the rules and the app needed, you can visit the site here. A portion of the funds go to a local animal rescue organization. This would make a great trip for any car-ride loving canines!
Austin-Healey Club USA Rendezvous 2022
October 15-16, Arcata, CA
After being cancelled for the last two years, the Austin-Healey Club’s annual gathering is making a comeback! This will be the 20th get-together which also happens to mark the 52nd anniversary of the club. There are a few other regional Austin-Healey Club gatherings, so be sure to check your area if this one isn’t for you.
20th Annual Corvette Show
October 15, Fort Worth, TX
Cowtown Corvettes hosts this annual event in Fort Worth, TX. There are a variety of classes for awards which seem to cover every type of Corvette available. Cowtown Corvettes has been around since 1974 and hosts a great variety of events for the region. Check out their website for more information.
Creepy Cars and Coffee – Murphys Auto Museum
October 16, Oxnard, CA
Who doesn’t love a Cars and Coffee? What makes it even better is being held at an auto museum. To top it all off, this weekend’s meetup is a special Halloween edition! If you’re in the area, check out this local event between Santa Barbara and LA.
Tucson Classics Car Show
October 15, Tucson, AZ
If you live in the desert, you know this is truly one of the best weather times of the year. We’ve got temperatures in the mid/upper 90s and it just makes being outside, especially for a car event, much more enjoyable. This is the 16th annual event and looks to have a great line up of activities, prizes, and events for attendees.
Kingman Route 66 Fest
October 14-15, Kingman, AZ
One more local event in Arizona because I can’t NOT share an event celebrating Route 66. Having driven the majority of the historic highway, any special event around it catches my eye. This Route 66 Fest, which takes place that was a rest stop along the Mother Road, will sport not only a classic car and motorcycle show, but also includes a zipline. The stacked schedules with two full days of activities will keep you busy. Check out the lineup and live music schedule here.
