Carly Rae Jepsen is set to release her sixth studio album, “The Loneliest Time,” on Oct. 21.

Judging by the four singles released thus far — “Western Wind,” “Beach House,” “Talking to Yourself” and the title track featuring Rufus Wainwright — it sure looks like Jepsen has a major winner on her hands.

And the Canadian pop star has certainly had her share during her career, which took flight with her third place finish during the 2007 season of “Canadian Idol.”

Her debut full-length, “Tug of War,” came out in 2008 and produced a pair of hits in Canada. The next offering, 2012’s “Kiss,” turned out to be Jepsen’s international breakout effort. Credit that, in large part, to the diamond-certified smash “Call Me Maybe” — which may well be the finest pure pop song of the decade.

Jepsen followed up “Kiss” with 2015’s critically acclaimed “Emotion.”

The same day that “The Loneliest Time” is released, Jepsen performs at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. Empress Of opens the concert. Showtime is 8 p.m. and tickets are $56, apeconcerts.com.
