Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing back its popular Boorito promotion for the first time since 2019.
Chipotle Rewards members who visit a Chipotle restaurant in costume after 3 p.m. on Halloween, Oct. 31, will receive a $6 entrée, according to a news release from the Newport Beach-based chain.
Chipotle is taking the promotion to the social media platform BeReal. Fans who take a picture of themselves in costume in a Chipotle restaurant on Halloween and post it on BeReal can enter a sweepstakes to win 10 free burritos for a year. They need to use the hashtag #booritosweepstakes and share their BeReal content to Instagram Stories with the tag @chipotle and the hasttag #booritosweepstakes.
There is another promotion with the money transfer service Cash App for Rewards members who follow Chipotle on Twitter. Chipotle will tweet about giveaways on Oct. 13, 20, 25, or 27. Rewards members who reply to the tweets with their $Cashtags, unique identifier for people Cash App, and #ChipotleBoorito can qualify for the giveaways, the news release said.
Chipotle is partnering with artist Pablo Rochat on a trailer that shows people in outrageous costumes lining up in a Chipotle restaurant.
