Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this two-tone 1972 Chevrolet K10.
This K10’s exterior was refinished in two-tone yellow and white. The two-tone paint is complemented by chrome bumpers, aluminum side trim with black inserts, a chrome grille, and a black spray-in bed liner. It rides on 15-inch silver Chevrolet truck rally wheels with chrome center caps, chrome beauty rings, and manual locking front hubs. The wheels are wrapped in 35″ x 12.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
“The bench seat and door panels are upholstered with brown marbled faux leather,” the listing states. “Features include black carpet with black vinyl floor mats, manual windows, a floor-mounted transfer case shifter, a column-mounted automatic shifter, a three-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim, power steering and brakes, an aftermarket air conditioning system, and a RetroSound vintage-look AM/FM stereo.”
Under the hood is a Vortec 5.3-liter V8 crate engine paired with a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. It features part-time four-wheel drive, and power front disc and rear drum brakes. The engine bay has smoothed and color-matched inner fenders and firewall, a custom air inlet tube, and a custom engine management computer box.
The sale includes a clear Texas title, and the selling dealer advises that the truck is on consignment. It’s the buyer’s responsibility to inspect or have the truck inspected because it is being sold as-is without a warranty. The odometer indicates 72K miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
